Sponsorship’s play a crucial role in the production and development of our event. In sponsoring this event, one not only promotes their business, but their community. There was a total of 186 registered participants in 2019. With a 20% increase from 2018 to 2019. Through our post-race conducted survey 94 of the 186 registered racers responded. Of the 94 respondents, 68 of them stayed in Skagway overnight. More than 78% of respondents had stated that they are planning to register for next year’s race. The continued growth of the Duff’s Skagway Marathon, Half-Marathon and Walking Half-Marathon is a testament to the success of this event.
